Author Guidelines

Article submitted for publication have to check to the following guidelines:

  1. Paper should discourse the themes of Islamic Studies in general, including Islamic religious education, Islamic law, Islamic da'wah and communication, Islamic economics, Sharia economic law, Qur'anic studies and hadith, Islamic philosophy, Islamic theology, Islamic thought, Islam and Gender, Islam and Politics, Islam and Peace, Islam in the local/nation, History and Civilization in Islam and Sufism,;
  2. Manuscript must be well-written in Indonesia and English 
  3. Article must type in one-half spaced on A4-paper size, using Goudy Old Style font 12;
  4. Paper length is about 4500-7000 words count; thus, only manuscript following word counts length will reach the review stages;
  5. All submission must include a 150-250 words of abstract written in British English or American English, and also translated in Bahasa Indonesia;
  6. All submission must have file in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format;
  7. Full name(s) of the author(s) must be stated, along with his/her/their institution and complete address; and the number of authors is no more than 5 (five) persons.
  8. In the matter of writing citation and bibliography, Abdurrauf Law and Sharia follows the Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition (full note)
  9. The body of article must follow standard of scientific publication, using IMRaD standard (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) and sum up with conclusion;
  10. The length of title is no more than 14 words.
  11. Regarding the diversity author policy, author or co-author who have published in an issue, their manuscript will be ONLY considered to review and may publish in the next following year.
